Come To Bethlehem
Today's card is one I made for a fundraising event this past Saturday. At these events we usually make cards that are easily duplicatable as the attendees who support our fundraising efforts have varying degrees of stamping/cardmaking skills. We have long time stampers and those that are brand new, but they all enjoy themselves and usually can't wait until the next event.
I used the Come To Bethlehem stamp set from the current catalog. This stamp set came out last year and I have used it several times to create some beautiful holiday cards. This time I changed it up from traditional Christmas colors and used Early Espresso and Crumb Cake. I used the Early Espresso Core'dinations paper and embossed it with the Lacy Brocade folder and then sanded it to expose the light colored core. I hope Stampin' Up! releases additional colors in the Core'dination line because it is so much fun to use. This paper lends itself to both vintage looks as well as those that are whimsical. The image piece was framed with a narrow border of Champagne glimmer paper and the center of the star is a rhinestone. What's a Christmas card without a little bling?
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my blog today. Thanks for returning and I hope you check in again soon.

Wonderfall
Welcome back friends! It is finally starting to feel like fall here in Florida. This has been such a HOT summer this year and I,for one, am very thankful for the cooler temps we are starting to see.
In honor of the changing season I have created a card using the beautiful new stamp set called Wonderfall and the matching Autumn Accents Bigz Die that can both be found in the current Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. Also in the catalog is the Woodgrain Embossing Folder used here. My cardstock colors are More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip. Inks used are More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake. I sponged the woodgrain Chocolate Chip cardstock with a little Stampin' Up! Craft White ink and a little Chocolate Chip ink, all in an effort to make the woodgrain look a little distressed. All in all I am pretty happy with how the card turned out. I left off a sentiment so I could add it at a later date when I decide what I am going to be using it for. The card would be fabulous for Thanksgiving or a masculine birthday.
I made this card at a recent workshop, everyone loved it, and I sold 4 Wonderfall stamp sets and 3 Autumn Accents dies. These items are only available until January 2nd so don't let the opportunity pass by without getting these fabulous products. You can click directly on my name below this post to be taken to my Stampin' Up! store.
Please get in touch with me if you have any questions about the techniques used on this card or anything else I can help you with. Thank you very much for the return visit.

Warm Winter Mittens
Today's card was done with the Make a Mitten stamp set (#127943) found on page 11 of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. I used the Mitten Builder Punch (#127824), Snow Festival DSP (#126908)and Primrose Petals In Color Ribbon (#126844). I just noticed how crooked the bow looks on my ribbon. Oh well, just picture it without the downward tilt.
I love how this card turned out and it was so simple to make. Stampin' Up! is the leader when it comes to products that all match so you can create beautiful projects from cards to scrapbook pages and 3D items. If you would like to duplicate this card just click on my name below and go to my Stampin' Up! store where you can purchase everything necessary.

Convention Photos
I know this is a little late in coming, but I wanted to share some of the photos from the Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City this past July.
Here are 3 additional decorations in the lobby...Christina Cummings, me and Lee Conrey.
Here are 2 photos of the warehouse where all the goodies are stored just waiting for our orders. This section of the building is HUGE!!!
I think I have a couple more to share but will have to do it another day.
Thanks for stopping by today.
This is where all the magic happens....the beautiful Stampin' Up! home office located in Riverton Utah.
Following are photos of the lobby inside the home office that was decorated for convention.

I've been told if you go to the Stampin' Up! home office you have to get your picture taken at the huge rock with the Stampin' Up! logo. So here I am!!!!!
I met so many new friends (fellow demonstrators) at convention. Here I am with just a few of them...Carole'Anne Sluchinski, Lee Conrey, Sandi MacIver, Shelagh Freemantle and me. This photo was taken in the hotel restaurant where we had several great meals and lots of laughs.
Here is one of those meals...Check out this FABULOUS French Toast. YUMMY!!!!!
Following is a photo of me, Lee Conrey and Christina Cummings taken on Awards Night. Notice the wrist corsage that Lee has on. Christina and I didn't get them this year but we are aiming high for next year. Wish us luck!!!!!

I'M BACK!!!!!!
I can't even begin to tell you what this past year has been like, except to say that it has been busy, frustrating, much too long and blogging has been the last thing on my mind. However, I went to the Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City last month and I am stoked to get started again. The convention was everything I had expected it to be and more. I will be posting some photos in the next few days to share my experiences with you. I met so many new friends and was able to be there as my upline, Lee Conrey, was honored with the Heart of Stampin' Up! Award.
I'd like to share a card with you today that I created prior to convention but never got around to posting. I used multiple stamp sets...Papillion Potpourri, Summer Silhouettes, Papaya Collage and One In A Million. Can I just say that I love the new catalog this year. The stamp sets are so versatile and so much fun to work with. Don't you just love the new butterfly punch that matches Papillion Potpourri??? My colors are Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade and Baja Breeze. I don't know what made me put these colors together but I really like how it turned out.
Thanks for coming back to visit and I promise it won't be another year before I post again.
