Rose Wonder for What Will You Stamp?

It's Monday morning so that means it's time for another What Will You Stamp? Challenge.  Rose Wonder is the featured stamp set this week.

I just knew this rose image would lend itself beautifully to color flooding.  I used watercolor paper and embossed the image in white, spritzed with water and then used an Aqua Painter to drop in the colors.  I squeezed my stamp pad lightly to transfer ink onto the lid and this is how I picked up the color with my Aqua Painter.  The rose is a combination of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango and the leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow.  The key to color flooding is not to be afraid of water.  If your paper dries too quickly don't be afraid to spritz it with more water.
Here is a graphic of the complete stamp set and all the wonderful sentiments included.
I just know the What Will You Stamp? Design Team is going to have some beautiful projects using this stamp set and I can't wait to see them all.

I used the following products on my card:

Heat Tool
[129053]
$30.00
If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to receive a copy of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog please don't hesitate to contact me.  I'd love to be your demo.  I'm here to help.

Thanks very much for visiting with me today.  See you soon.

Going Global for What Will You Stamp?

Welcome Back to the What Will You Stamp? weekly challenge.  Our stamp set this week is Going Global and I'm very sorry to say it is retiring at the end of May.  I really love the globe and the compass rose, and although I've use them many times since the set debuted in January I chose only to use a single sentiment today.
In addition to the globe and compass rose there are many great sentiments as well as the Big Dipper image.  This set is especially great to make masculine cards.
I'm looking forward to seeing the other projects that are waiting over at the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog.  See you there.

I used the following products on my card today:

If you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to purchase Going Global before it is gone forever, just click on the image above and you will go directly to my website.  Again, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demo, and would like to receive a copy of the new annual catalog making its debut on June 1st please don't hesitate to contact me.  I would be happy to get one out to you.  I'm here to help.

Thanks so much for spending a little time with me today.  I'll see you again soon.

Flower Patch for What Will You Stamp?

Hello and welcome to my blog.  It's Monday so that means it's time for another What Will You Stamp? Challenge.  Our stamp set this week is Flower Patch that has been around for a while now and I must admit I haven't used it nearly enough.  That's what makes WWYS so great.  You get to knock the dust off the stamp cases that have been sitting around unloved for much too long.  I used the daisy stamp and one of the sentiments on my Happy Blooming Birthday card.  The daisy was stamped twice with Whisper White Craft Stampin' Ink and then once in Elegant Eggplant.  To make this set even more appealing there is a matching die set which I used to create the center portion of my flowers.

This set has so many flowers you can combine to make your own fantasy garden.....
If you have this stamp set sitting unloved in your collection why not pull it out and create a card/project and play along with us.  All you need to do is post your project to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog and you could be chosen to be a guest designer for an upcoming challenge.  I'd love to see your work.

I used the following products this week:
Big Shot
[113439]
$110.00

New Annual Catalogs will be ready for shipment around the end of May so if you don't have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to receive the new catalog, please don't hesitate to contact me.  I would love to help you with your stamping needs.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'll see you again soon.
