I just knew this rose image would lend itself beautifully to color flooding. I used watercolor paper and embossed the image in white, spritzed with water and then used an Aqua Painter to drop in the colors. I squeezed my stamp pad lightly to transfer ink onto the lid and this is how I picked up the color with my Aqua Painter. The rose is a combination of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango and the leaves are Pear Pizzazz and Mossy Meadow. The key to color flooding is not to be afraid of water. If your paper dries too quickly don't be afraid to spritz it with more water.
Here is a graphic of the complete stamp set and all the wonderful sentiments included.
I just know the What Will You Stamp? Design Team is going to have some beautiful projects using this stamp set and I can't wait to see them all.I used the following products on my card:
Thanks very much for visiting with me today. See you soon.
