Heartfelt Sympathy for What Will You Stamp?

Week 61 at What Will You Stamp? is using the Heartfelt Sympathy set.  These are the cards I hate to make but unfortunately need on hand more often than I would like.  That being said, I like how this card turned out.  I think I'll try the same layout on a future card that bears a happier message and be sure to share with you all here.

I paired Heartfelt Sympathy with Timeless Textures to create, what I think, looks like toile fabric.  What do you think?

Bear Hugs for What Will You Stamp?

What Will You Stamp? Week 60 is showcasing Bear Hugs.  I've got to admit that when I first saw this set I wasn't very excited about it.  However, the more I work with it the more I find it growing on me.  My cuddly bear was a very successful fisherbear this morning.  I'm so glad the choppy glistening water didn't hinder his efforts.  Looks like he is going to have a yummy dinner tonight.  lol  

I think this set would be sooooooo cute made into Goldilocks' three bears.

Sheltering Tree for What Will You Stamp?

Welcome back to my blog and the What Will You Stamp? Week 58 challenge.  The challenge stamp set is Sheltering Tree and I used a favorite color combo of mine to create this card...Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz.  I love my softly colored card but especially love how the white embossed sentiment on black just pops out at you.  What do you think?

Sheltering Tree makes me think back to my childhood with a swing hanging in the backyard and my brother's bike lying somewhere nearby.
