From the Garden for What Will You Stamp?

Welcome back for another What Will You Stamp? challenge.

I've got to admit that this week's project was REALLY a challenge for me.  Not only do I not own this stamp set and had to ask a fellow demonstrator to stamp me a couple of images, but once I had those stamped pieces I was not inspired...in the least!!!!  I sat and looked at the stamped pieces for about a week and tried to come up with something, anything.

Finally an idea began to form and here is the result.
I decided to make a card that had a pocket in which I could insert a seed packet.  I cut the Baked Brown Sugar cardbase to 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  The pocket on the front was cut 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 and scored at 2 3/4.  I then used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Regarding Dahlias to stamp the large flower in Baked Brown Sugar ink all over the cardbase and pocket.  The pocket was then glued to the cardbase on 3 sides using Sticky Strip.  I decorated the flap of the pocket with Melon Mambo cotton ribbon and strips of Whisper White and Melon Mambo cardstock.  Once the flap was decorated I used additional Sticky Strip to hold the flap down.  Insert the "love ya!" garden pick in the bow, insert the seed packet and you're done!!!  Wouldn't your favorite gardener love to receive this in the mail?

I only used 2 of the stamps that come in this set, but there are many others from which to choose.  You can purchase separately or as a bundle in which you get the stamp set as well as the Handpicked Framelits Dies.
Now you need to go back to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog to see the rest of the fabulous projects from our Design Team.  I just know there is lots of fabulous inspiration there.

If you would like to recreate my project, following is what I used
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs please don't hesitate to contact me.

Susan! I think sometimes when we have to sit and look at something for a while we are forced to be really creative! This project is really amazing and anyone would live to receive it!
