I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted. So much has been happening including Hurricane Irma from which we managed to escape with very little damage. I wish I could say the same for everyone else in Florida. There is so much heartbreaking devastation. Parts of Downtown Jacksonville were flooded and one of the largest office buildings is still closed because it will be some time before they can determine how much structural damage has been done. I'm very thankful to all those who have come to Florida from out of state to help with tree removal, power restoration, etc. Much thanks!
Our challenge at WWYS this week was to use "At Home With You". I combined this with "Brightly Lit Christmas" to create the beautifully lit porches. Both of these sets are so much fun to work with. I used Embossing Paste with a little Crumb Cake reinker added to it to make the bricks on my homes. Although it is hard to tell in the photos, I even have Window Sheet in my front doors.
The Green Door house with a little side lighting and some jeweled potted plants.
The Red Door house with some overhead lighting, beautiful holly garland and wreath.
"At Home With You" is a the perfect set for any occasion whether it be a New Home, Spring, Thanksgiving, Christmas or just because.
This stamp set can be purchased as a bundle with matching framelits.
Make sure to head back over to WWYS to see what other projects the Design Team members have there. I know you won't be disappointed.
