Mother's Love for What Will You Stamp?

It's time for another Design Team challenge on the What Will You Stamp? blog.  Our challenge this week was to use Mother's Love from the Stampin' Up! 2015 Occasions Catalog and this was so easy to do using other product found in the same catalog.  I love the Spring Flowers embossing folder and thought it added just the right touch to the flowers from Mother's Love.  Don't you just love how Stampin' Up! makes designing foolproof by providing us so many fabulous products to choose from.
Here are the other stamps you will find in the Mother's Love stamp set.
Head on over to the What Will You Stamp? challenge blog to see what the Design Team has to share with you this week.  I just know you will find tons of inspiration there.

If you would like to recreate my card, following are the products I used:
I also used Strawberry Slush cardstock and the Strawberry Slush Stampin' Pad...unfortunately as these were part of the 2013-15 In Colors they are no longer available, but I do think Melon Mambo would be a good substitution.

I would love to hear from you so please leave me a comment and/or let me know if I can help you with your stamping needs.

See you next week!!!

Hello Love for What Will You Stamp?

Happy Monday Everyone!!!  Hello and welcome to my blog and another What Will You Stamp? challenge.

Check out my happy little lovebirds....aren't they just the cutest?  I used the Hello Love challenge stamp set which is a Hostess Only set and can be found on page 239 of the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.  I also used two other stamp sets (Crazy About You & Kinda Eclectic) because I needed a few branches for my lovebirds to perch upon and I couldn't let them sit there without any sunshine...that would have just been too cruel.
So many cute stamps in this set to choose from.
Now you need to get yourself back to What Will You Stamp? to see what the other Design Team members have created for you this week.

If you would like to recreate my card, following are the supplies I used.
If I can help you with any of your stamping needs, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks so much for coming back to visit and I'll see you again soon.

From the Garden for What Will You Stamp?

Welcome back for another What Will You Stamp? challenge.

I've got to admit that this week's project was REALLY a challenge for me.  Not only do I not own this stamp set and had to ask a fellow demonstrator to stamp me a couple of images, but once I had those stamped pieces I was not inspired...in the least!!!!  I sat and looked at the stamped pieces for about a week and tried to come up with something, anything.

Finally an idea began to form and here is the result.
I decided to make a card that had a pocket in which I could insert a seed packet.  I cut the Baked Brown Sugar cardbase to 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.  The pocket on the front was cut 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 and scored at 2 3/4.  I then used the Stampin' Up! stamp set Regarding Dahlias to stamp the large flower in Baked Brown Sugar ink all over the cardbase and pocket.  The pocket was then glued to the cardbase on 3 sides using Sticky Strip.  I decorated the flap of the pocket with Melon Mambo cotton ribbon and strips of Whisper White and Melon Mambo cardstock.  Once the flap was decorated I used additional Sticky Strip to hold the flap down.  Insert the "love ya!" garden pick in the bow, insert the seed packet and you're done!!!  Wouldn't your favorite gardener love to receive this in the mail?

I only used 2 of the stamps that come in this set, but there are many others from which to choose.  You can purchase separately or as a bundle in which you get the stamp set as well as the Handpicked Framelits Dies.
Now you need to go back to the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog to see the rest of the fabulous projects from our Design Team.  I just know there is lots of fabulous inspiration there.

If you would like to recreate my project, following is what I used

Thanks so much for visiting with me today and please post a comment before you leave...I love hearing from you.

Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp Out Autism Blog Hop.

I'm so excited to be taking part in this wonderful venture for such a worthy cause.  The blog hop is taking place at the same time as several fundraising events being held across the country.  The idea for this nationwide fundraising extravaganza came from Lee Conrey, my upline and friend.  I don't know how she did it, but she was able to get many of our fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators to not only participate in this blog hop but hold fundraisers in their respective cities. I'm proud to say that tomorrow, April 11, I will be participating as a demonstrator in a fundraising event here in Jacksonville, Florida alongside Lee.

The lifelong cost per individual with Autism is estimated between $3-5 Million

Please help us raise funds for this worthy cause...Imagine if everyone donates only $1 how much of a difference we can make...Please click the button below to help.  Thank you!!!
https://fundraise.autism-society.org/e/lconrey
The symbols for autism are puzzle pieces and I designed my project with that in mind.   I'm   sharing with you a striking photo frame using the Stacked With Love Designer Washi Tape.  I painted the frame white with an acrylic craft paint, put down the washi tape and then covered the washi tape with a light coat of Modge Podge.  I then took three large puzzle pieces and traced them onto Pacific Point, Real Red and Daffodil Delight cardstock.  The cardstock was glued to the puzzle pieces and then glued to my frame.

Thank you so much for hopping along with us today.  I hope you enjoyed my project and would love it if you left me a comment.  I love hearing from everyone.

It's now time to continue on with the hop.  You should have arrived here from Katina Martinez's blog and your next stop will be with the amazingly talented Patty Bennett.   I know you will enjoy the entire blog hop...there are so many talented stampers participating.

Choose Happiness for What Will You Stamp?

Welcome to my blog and to week 6 of the What Will You Stamp? Challenge.  The Design Team was given the task of using the Choose Happiness stamp set from Stampin' Up! this week.  I've got to confess that I purchased this set when it was released in June 2014 and it had never seen ink until now.  I'm ashamed to admit that, but there are so many wonderful Stampin' Up! stamp sets to choose from that sometimes a few of them get pushed to the back of the shelf.  The What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog has forced me to use these forgotten sets and I've been so happy with the results.

Come on...admit it...you know you have the same problem.  LOL  I hope the Challenge Blog has given you some inspiration to get out your forgotten stamp sets and play along with us.

My card uses one of my favorite color combos...
Basic Black, Real Red and Whisper White...
How can you go wrong with that!!!

Add a little watercoloring and lots of bling...
and Ta Da...you've got a card ready to go.

Now it's your turn to pull out your Choose Happiness stamp set and play along with us on the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog.  I can't wait to see what you create!!!
If you would like to recreate my card I used the following products:

Indescribable Gift for JAX Starz Blog Hop

It's the first Saturday of the month so you know what that means.....Time for the April JAX Starz Blog Hop.  We challenged ourselves to make paper crafts that have flowers and that really made me very happy!!!  I love, love, love coloring flowers.

You may just be starting the blog hop or you may have come from Rose Ann Marr's blog.  You can follow the full blog hop lineup below to move along from blog to blog so you can see all of the new projects.

With the discontinuation of the Stampin' Up! Blendabilities I was forced to go back and use an old technique to color the blossoms from Indescribable Gift.  I love how my card turned out and hope you do too!!!
I embossed the blossoms in white onto watercolor paper and then used an Aqua Painter and Strawberry Slush ink to flood the blossoms with color.  Gotta say I'm really going to miss Strawberry Slush when it retires on June 2nd as it is part of the In Color 2013-2015 collection.

I started out by spritzing the watercolor paper to get it wet and then picked up some ink with the Aqua Painter and dabbed it into the center of the blossom and allowed it to spread.  The embossed edges do a pretty good job of keeping the ink inside each petal (provided you don't use too much water).  I colored each petal individually.  I admit it takes a little extra time to do this, but I think it's oh so worth it.

Your next stop on the JAX Starz blog hop is Amanda Sevall.
